ZipLip, Inc. Appoints Leading Email Security Analyst to Advisory Board
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, January 27, 2003

ZipLip, Inc., the market leader in secure messaging solutions, today announced the addition of Joyce Graff to the company's technical advisory board. An IT industry veteran, Ms. Graff has over 24 years of experience focused on corporate messaging strategy and email security.

Up to 2003, Ms. Graff was vice president and research director at Gartner Group's Research and Advisory Services group. While at Gartner, she advised Fortune 500 and Global 1000 clients on product choices in email, email gateways, email boundary control, secure messaging and messaging management, including anti-virus, content filtering, spam control, and archiving.

Prior to joining Gartner in 1993, Ms. Graff was at Digital Equipment, first as the messaging architect building and maintaining the enterprise wide network of 85,000 users and later as product manager for its client/server messaging products. Ms. Graff was also a board member of the Electronic Messaging Association, chairing its messaging committee and served on the executive committee of the XAPI Association.

In addition to technology, Ms. Graff is the co-founder and chairman of the von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) Family Alliance, a nonprofit organization for a rare vascular disease, educating people worldwide about the condition and providing information to families of affected individuals. Ms. Graff earned both bachelor's and master's degrees from Cornell University, and she has completed a management program at Babson College.
