ZipLip to Showcase New Features for Email Archival Compliance at Lotusphere 2005 Product Showcase
Version 5 of ZipLip's Unified Email Archival Suite Pushes the Envelope in Email Archiving for Compliance

SANTA CLARA, CA - January 23, 2005 - ZipLip, Inc, a technology leader in email archiving for compliance, will be announcing Version 5.0 of its Unified Email Archival Suite, with enhanced features and functionality for full compliance with requirements from SEC, NASD, Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory bodies.

ZipLip is also pleased to formally announce its unique ability to empower Lotus deployments for true compliance with the toughest standards set in the U.S. The new version also enables concurrent archiving of both IBM Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange email systems on the same system, thus providing easy migration from Exchange to Lotus Notes, as well as preventing potential migrations from Lotus Notes to Exchange for archiving purposes. With deployments on IBM mainframes, ZipLip is also able to run "True Blue," namely, with IBM DB2, IBM WebSphere, Linux, and Lotus.

ZipLip Unified Email Archival Suite was designed from the ground-up to respond to enterprise customer needs and requests.   • Improved, High Performance Pre-Review and Gateway Capture, using lexicons to stop violations before they occur, and to ensure that no email whether a blind copy, group list, or CRM-system mailing escapes
  • Lexicon-based Mail Auto-Categorization, for revolutionary simplified automated categorization of emails according to topic, genre or category, example "Attorney-Client Privilege," "Partners," "Customers," etc.
  • Advanced Search with Proximity and Context Sensitivity Matching, for greater granularity and refinement of searches according to use within sentences, paragraphs, and whole documents
  • Quick Summary for Lexical Analysis and Compliance Analysis for Reviewers, for easy summarization of compliance review logs, frequency and occurrences
  • Simultaneous Cross-Alias Searching (Email address, IM userID, Bloomberg), to prevent double, triple or quadruple searches of the same user in the corporate directory, saving time and resources in the event of an audit
